Meet the Maker

My name is Tim and I’ve been making customer leather creations for friends and family for years now. I’ve decided to extend my expertise outside my social group and begin taking commission work. Living and working out of Central Pennsylvania, I’m always looking for another challenge to improve my skills.

Veg Tan Leather

All of my creations are made with natural veg tan leather which allows me to tool, dye and sculpt the leather to fit the project. It also patinas beautifully, showing use marks, striations, and darkening as it travels through life leading to truly one of a kind items.

Hand stitching

Hand stitching which may seems archaic allows me the control to adjust tension of my project and create custom fitment. I use predominantly saddle stitching which leaves a strong permanent bond.

Leather dyeing

While some may prefer the natural veg tan look, for those who are looking for custom color options I use the Fiebling’s leather dye suite and can also mix and match colors to achieve whatever look you are going for.

Hand Tooling

This is where the magic happens. Hand tooling is the art of cutting and sculpting leather into complex patterns using a series of small stamping tools. These patterns can be shaped and adjusted to fit the customers requests and shape the look of any item.
